You Should Know About the Route Of Deccan Odyssey

Deccan Odyssey is a luxury train in India that takes you to many important tourist destinations in Goa and Maharashtra.  There are six routes covered by Deccan Odyssey and this article will talk in detail about the routes in each itinerary.

Indian Sojourn

This route starts in Mumbai and ends in Delhi. This itinerary is for seven nights and eight days.  The train’s first destination is Vadodara. Then, it enters into Rajasthan for destinations like Udaipur, Jodhpur and others. Then, the train takes a turn towards Agra, Sawai Madhopur and Jaipur. This trip starts and ends in Mumbai. The train covers Bijapur, Aihole, Hampi, Hyderbad, Aurangabad, caves of Ajanta and then reaches back to Mumbai. The trip takes eight days and seven nights for completion. It covers south Indian states like Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh too.


Hidden treasures of Gujarat

This trip covers Gujarat, Mumbai and surrounding areas. The trip starts and ends in Mumbai. Top destinations reached are Vadodara, Palitana, Sasan Guir, Little Rann, Modhera and Nashik. From Nashik, the train travels to Mumbai and completes the trip. This trip is for seven nights and eight days.


Indian Odyssey

This itinerary covers multiple states and numerous attractions. The tour starts in Delhi and ends in Mumbai. The first destination reached is Ranthambore or Sawai Madhopur. From there, the train takes a route that covers Agra, Jaipur and Udaipur of Rajasthan, Vadodara and Aurangabad. From there, train travels to Mumbai which is the final destination for the trip. The trip stretches for eight days and seven nights.


Maharashtra Wild Trail

As the name states, this trip is concealed inside Maharashtra and focuses on wildlife and natural attractions. The trip is for seven nights and eight days. The trip starts in Mumbai. The Deccan Odyssey train takes a route that covers Aurangabad, caves of Ellora and again back to Aurangabad. From Aurangabad, the train covers Ramtek, Tadoba, Jalgaon and Nashik. The train then reaches Mumbai and ends the trip. It takes seven nights and eight days.


Maharashtra Splendor

This route covers Maharashtra and Goa along with surrounding areas. The trip starts and ends in Mumbai. From Mumbai, the train reaches Nashik, Aurangabad, Jalgaon, Kolhapur, Goa and Sindhudurg before finally reaching Mumbai. This trip stretches for seven nights and eight days. It is the most luxury train in India which covers the various destinations in India.
